The Mar Thoma Youth League is the youth wing of the Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church, founded in 1933 at the historic Maramon Convention. Since then, it has grown into a worldwide movement, uniting the youth of the Mar Thoma Church across continents. The Youth League is well known for nurturing the talents of young people and, over the years, has shaped many leaders who have made significant contributions both in the Church and in wider society.
At Bethel Mar Thoma Church, Bedford, the Youth League plays an active role in guiding our young people to affirm Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, to grow in worship and fellowship, and to actively participate in the mission of the Church. It provides a platform for the youth to cultivate Christian values, strengthen their knowledge of the Holy Bible, and deepen their understanding of the faith and practices of the Mar Thoma Church.
Through camps, meetings, discussions, and fellowship gatherings, the Youth League inspires our young members to grow spiritually, develop leadership qualities, and contribute meaningfully to the life of the parish and the wider community.
The Bethel Mar Thoma Church Youth League meets on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month at the church.
