Our Church had a humble beginning in Kerala, it has expanded its boundaries to different corners of the continents of the world. We are based in Stewartby, Bedford and well connected with Public transport links and adequete on-street parking area for our members.

Rt. Rev. PD Dr. Joseph Mar Ivanios Episcopa
Rt. Rev. Dr. Joseph Mar Ivanios Episcopa was born on 19th August 1970 as the son of Karamvelimannil Sri. Thomas Daniel and Smt. Saramma Thomas of Kochukoickal Trinity Mar Thoma Parish.
He is an expert on Church History. He completed B.A. History from
St. Thomas College, Kozhencherry and M.A. History from Catholicate College, Pathanamthitta, which he secured the First Rank, for which he obtained the University Gold Medal.

The Choir is an essential part of worship at Bethel Mar Thoma Church, Bedford. The rich liturgy of the Mar Thoma Church, with its theologically and biblically sound prayers, hymns, and chants, is a unique feature of Eastern worship.

The Sunday School is a nurturing haven for children, guided by the mission "Come to Jesus, Bring Every Child to Jesus.
Sevika Sangham
The Mar Thoma Suvisesha Sevika Sangham, the women’s wing was inaugurated during the Maramon Convention in the year 1919.

Faith and Practice
of the Church
The Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church, one of the ancient Churches of the world, is believed to have been founded by St Thomas in AD 52.
It is an Eastern Reformed Church and in the words of our late Metropolitan, Most Rev Dr Juhanon Mar Thoma, it is a Church which is a “bridge” between the East and the West. While holding the heritage of the East, it is influenced by the West in its mission mandate and ecumenical outlook.
