Edavaka Mission

Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.
Proverbs 22 :6

The Edavaka Mission is the parish branch of the Mar Thoma Voluntary Evangelists Association (M.T.V.E.A.), which carries out its mission activities at the local level. Its central objective is that every member of the Church should live as a missionary—filled with the joy and assurance of salvation, and bearing witness to Christ in daily life, regardless of profession or background.

At Bethel Mar Thoma Church, Bedford, the Edavaka Mission plays a vital role in nurturing spiritual growth and leading the parish in its mission work. Through Bible studies, intercessory prayers, and sharing of faith experiences, the fellowship encourages believers to live out the gospel and to be active witnesses of Christ’s love in the community.

The Edavaka Mission continues to strengthen the faith of the parish while inspiring members to engage in service, evangelism, and prayerful fellowship.
